Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home

A massive alien probe enters the galaxy and threatens Earth by vaporizing its oceans. To stop the crisis, Admiral James T. Kirk and his fugitive crew travel back in time to San Francisco in 1986, searching for the one life-form that can communicate with the probe: humpback whales. With Earth’s survival at stake, they must find a way to bring the whales back to their own time.
