Stargate

When an ancient interstellar portal discovered in Egypt is unlocked, Daniel Jackson joins Colonel Jack O’Neil on a mission to a distant world. There, they find a human civilization resembling ancient Egyptians, living under the rule of Ra, whom they worship as a god.
