Strong Island

Filmmaker Yance Ford investigates the 1992 murder of William Ford Jr., a 24-year-old Black man who was also Ford’s brother. Through this deeply personal documentary, Ford examines the violent loss that reshaped a family, the judicial system that allowed the killer to go free, and the fear and racialized perception surrounding the case.
