When their professor disappears after heading into the wetlands to investigate the legend of the Swamp Freak, six college students set out to find him. Their search leads them into the same marshland tied to stories of a mythical, deadly monster, pushing the group toward the unsettling possibility that the creature their professor was chasing may be more than a legend.
