Born in Heinola

In the small timber industrial town of Heinola, five Finnish teenagers come of age during the devastating recession of the 1990s. As their parents struggle with harsh economic realities, the youths face uncertain futures of their own. Brought together by chance despite their differences, they find a shared outlet in music and form the punk band Apulanta.
