Sean, a self-made chemist and young recluse, lives alone in an old trailer deep in the woods. Driven by delusions of fortune and a dependence on pills, he becomes obsessed with unlocking the ancient secret of alchemy. As his experiments grow more manic and unstable, his attempt to crack the mystery takes a dangerous turn, drawing out something far more sinister than he expected.
