The Band Wagon

An aging movie star, unsure whether his career still has a future, joins forces with a leading ballerina to star in a new Broadway musical designed as his comeback. But the production is soon pulled in another direction by a director with lofty artistic ambitions, whose pretentious vision threatens to turn the show into something far removed from the lively vehicle everyone expected.
