Set between 1940s Taiwan and Shanghai, The Crossing II follows three couples whose love stories become intertwined during a turbulent period of history. As their lives move across borders and changing circumstances, their relationships are drawn toward the events surrounding the 1949 sinking of the Taiping, a maritime disaster that stands at the center of their connected stories.
