In Salem during the 1692 witchcraft trials, fear and suspicion spread through the community as accusations of witchcraft take hold. Amid the panic, a resident tries to turn the hysteria to her own advantage by framing her ex-lover’s wife as a witch, drawing private jealousy into a public crisis where a single charge can threaten a person’s life and reputation.
