The Devil's Playground

In 1953 Australia, thirteen-year-old Tom Allen is sent to a strict Catholic seminary for boys run by the De La Salle Brothers. As he comes of age within a rigid religious environment, Tom and the other adolescent students face the pressures of discipline, faith, and awakening desire, while their adult instructors wrestle with their own doubts and repression.
