Fledgling boxer “Irish” Micky Ward is struggling to make his name while living in the shadow of his older half-brother, Dicky, a once-promising fighter whose life has been derailed by drugs and crime. With Dicky as his trainer, Micky pushes for his own chance at greatness, following an unlikely road toward the world light welterweight title.
