The Horse Whisperer

A mother struggles to help her severely traumatized daughter after a terrible ordeal leaves the girl emotionally wounded and her horse badly injured as well. Searching for a way forward, she turns to a horse trainer with an unusual gift, hoping his patient approach to the animal can also help her daughter begin to heal.
