Seventy-year-old widower Ben Whittaker finds that retirement is not as fulfilling as he expected. Looking for a way to stay active and useful, he takes a chance on returning to work as a senior intern at an online fashion site. The company is founded and run by Jules Ostin, and Ben steps into a fast-moving workplace very different from the career he left behind.
