After serving 15 years in prison, an ex-con is released for good behavior and returns home to Brooklyn expecting the neighborhood he once knew. Instead, he finds a world that has moved on without him and a community reshaped by gentrification. As he takes in the changes around him, he faces the shock of starting over in a place that feels familiar and entirely different.
