At the end of 1952, country music legend Hank Williams is past the peak of his career and facing a demanding New Year’s schedule. Needing to reach two holiday shows in West Virginia and Ohio, he hires a local youth to drive him through the Appalachian countryside, turning a simple trip into a quiet passage through the fading days of a once-brilliant career.
