The Match

In the spring of 1944, the Nazis arrange a soccer match to mark Adolf Hitler’s birthday, forcing a team of camp inmates onto the field against an elite Nazi side. Inspired by true events, the film follows the prisoners as they face a game meant to serve their captors’ purposes, yet resolve to play with dignity and determination, intent on winning no matter the cost.
