In London, a French detective investigates the case of a novelist left in hospital with severe injuries. Using the man’s journals and the help of a psychiatrist, he pieces together a disturbing life story and begins to suspect an impossible explanation: the writer may possess powerful telekinetic abilities, causing disasters simply by thinking about them.
