The Ninth Configuration

Colonel Kane, an ex-Marine and Army psychiatrist, is assigned to a secluded gothic castle that houses a military asylum. Calm and reserved, he takes an unusual approach to treatment, allowing the patients to act out their delusions and fantasies. As he tries to rehabilitate the men in his care, he also seeks to convince one deeply troubled inmate that a loving God exists.
