Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet

Exiled artist and poet Mustafa is finally set to return home, accompanied by his devoted housekeeper and her young daughter. As they travel together, the trio must stay ahead of authorities who see Mustafa’s words as a threat. Fearing that the truths he speaks could stir rebellion, those in power move to stop him before he can reach the people waiting to hear him.
