The Sapphires

In 1968, four young Australian Aboriginal girls with remarkable musical talent perform as The Sapphires, an all-girl singing group entertaining U.S. troops in Vietnam. Against the backdrop of war and far from their lives in Australia, their time onstage and together brings them into a wider world of love, friendship, and the hard realities of conflict.
