The Second Wife

In early 1960s Sicily, a single mother enters a difficult new marriage with an older widowed truck driver whose rough manners make him a far from ideal husband. When he is arrested while trying to smuggle an antique, her unsettled life takes another unexpected turn as she grows close to his handsome son, stirring feelings that complicate her place in the family.
