The Stunt Man

While fleeing the police, a paranoid Vietnam veteran stumbles onto a movie set and becomes involved in an accident that leaves the production without its stuntman. The domineering director takes him in and offers him the job as a replacement, giving the fugitive a place to hide. As he adjusts to the dangerous work, he falls for the leading lady and clashes with the director’s manipulative control.
