The Way We Were

During their college years, Katie Morosky, a politically active Jewish woman, meets Hubbell Gardiner, a carefree WASP whose outlook could hardly be more different from her own. Years later, after World War II and amid the tensions of McCarthyism, they reconnect and are drawn into a romance that tests whether friendship and attraction can survive deeply opposed beliefs.
