A former Los Angeles drug dealer has left his criminal past behind and moved to suburban Houston, where he is trying to build a new life as a married architect. But his fresh start begins to collapse when an old crime partner arrives unexpectedly, carrying heroin and unfinished gangster business that draws a dangerous mix of violent, unsavory people to his door.
