While taking an online forensic science course, young lab assistant Emma Hedges notices that a fictional case study may be connected to her own past. In and around Dundee, she teams with professors Sarah Gordon and Kathy Torrance to examine the clues behind an unsolved murder close to home and work toward bringing a killer to justice.
