Morgan is the new kid at a Los Angeles high school, trying to find his place in an unfamiliar scene. When he crosses paths with Frankie, a disco dancer tied to hotshot gang leader Nick, his arrival quickly turns into a confrontation. As Morgan sings, pushes back, and refuses to stay out of the way, he is drawn into a fight with Nick and a gang of street toughs who do not take kindly to losing face.
