Union Bound

Sergeant Joseph Hoover goes to war determined to preserve the Union, but his own fight for freedom begins when he is captured and sent to a prisoner of war camp. Held against his will, Hoover comes to understand captivity in a deeply personal way. With a fellow prisoner at his side and help from enslaved people along the route, he risks everything in an attempt to escape and return to freedom.
