Waiting for Anya

During the hardships of World War II, Jo, a young shepherd in southern France, becomes involved in a dangerous effort to help Jewish children escape across the border into Spain. With the support of the widow Horcada, he takes part in a secret act of courage and compassion, risking safety in a time when even small choices can carry life-or-death consequences.
