Where the Wild Things Are

Restless and longing for escape, young Max imagines leaving home and sailing across the sea to a far-off island. There he finds a group of large talking beasts, including Ira, Carol, Douglas, the Bull, Judith and Alexander, who welcome him and crown him their king. Together they play wild rumpus, build forts and explore secret hideaways in a world shaped by adventure.
