In this fictional documentary, Leonard Zelig becomes a strange celebrity of the 1920s for his uncanny ability to look and act like the people around him. Known as a human chameleon, Zelig appears to move through public life alongside major figures of the era, with clever editing placing him into newsreel footage featuring Woodrow Wilson, Babe Ruth, and others.
